Missed tryouts and still looking for a team?? You can still send your information on the chat feature in the bottom corner of the page , and an SSFC representative will get back to you within a day or two.
SSFC has grown from 2 teams to 53 teams in just three years. This growth has been organic in nature (no mergers, no takeovers of other clubs), and has stemmed from a very community-driven atmosphere. We provide various levels of competitive club soccer ranging from premier teams (in birth years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017) to teams playing in regional leagues and in between. 90% of our coaching staff are from the local area, and we have over 25+ USSF Soccer "D" license or higher coaches involved in our project. Many are local high school coaches and many have collegiate/professional playing experience. We have coaches very well-connected to the college scene and the club is seeking membership in National Platform leagues (GA, E64 and/or ECNL) in the coming years once the club has additional history and is eligible to do so. The club is also currently working on a plan to secure it's own soccer complex through either private purchase or public-private partnership.
As we enter into our fourth year as a club, our priority will focus on three primary goals: Continued emphasis on quality control/good experiences for our members, continued exploration of National Platform Leagues AND forward movement in our SSFC complex project.
We want our players to ENJOY their journey to whatever their final soccer destination might be.
Monthly dues for the 24-25 season
runs June 2024 through May 2025:
(All fees will have a 3.2% vendor processing charge added when you enroll your child onto a team)
The season will begin in June with practices and tournaments (most of these are local). Official Fall league games begin around the end of August and run through Halloween or so. At that time, the teams all head indoors for continued training inside with likely play in local area indoor leagues. This continues until March when all the teams head back outside for the Spring games. Teams may take small breaks during Thanksgiving week, Christmas break, etc. but our coaches understand the importance of family time and preserve that with these breaks.
In general, commitment to club level soccer is year-round and will keep your children busy. You can expect most teams to have a very player and team-centered environment where kids and their families know each other (especially in our community-driven club) and often are together away from team events, such as birthday parties, service projects, etc.
